In early September, GM revealed it's plans for the new 2024 GMC Acadia, which brings sought-after styling changes both inside and out. The GMC Acadia has traditionally been GM's beloved mid-size SUV, great for small families looking for top-tier technology and safety. In 2023, General Motors announced an overhauled interior cabin, new tech features, and an exterior design update that brings greater height and length to the 2024 version of the vehicle.

When GM was asked about the styling changes, they replied that years of research on customer feedback helped push along the redesign. With that, the new 2024 Acadia is set to be 8.4 inches longer in it's wheelbase, and 3.2 inches taller. The increase in it's length and height means greater cargo space behind the 3rd row, in fact, drivers will find an 80% increase in cargo space than years prior!

Interior Design

The interior design of the new 2024 Acadia has changed slightly with the increase in length. When folding the rear seats down, the max cargo volume increases by ~24%. Seating remains the same, with options to buy the vehicle at 7 or 8 passenger capacity (depends on second-row captain seat configuration). Other major interior highlights include an 11" infotainment center, more front-row leg room (more than any other vehicle in it's class!) and heated front seats and steering.

The new Acadia will come in the traditional trim levels that customers have grown to love including the Elevation, Elevation Premium, AT4 and Denali, and will feature updates to the AT4, making it the most capable Acadia AT4 to-date. The new 2024 Acadia AT4 comes with:

  • A more lifted riding height
  • Off-road-tuned suspension
  • 18" gloss-black painted aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires
